Product information "Peavey invective. 120 Head"
In collaboration with Misha Mansoor, Peavey has with the Invective 120 a versatile all-tube top with practical features in the program. The 120 watts (switchable down to 60 watts) strong Bolide offers 3 channels: a clean channel with 3 band tone control and with decent headroom, so that the amp remains clean even at high volumes, a crunch and a lead channel with common 3 band tone control. In addition, a switchable booster is available in all channels. 2 effects loops are available: a standard FX loop for common floor pedals and a rack loop for effects that require a stronger level. Both FX loops can be activated with the included floorboard. In the input section of the amp is a super-fast noise gate, which can be used to effectively combat pickup interference or ambient noise from upstream effects pedals. On the back of the amp is a MIDI interface, a boost master volume and 2 9 volt/500 mA voltage outputs for external effects pedals. The DI output with speaker simulation, familiar from the JSX amp, provides a stress-free DI signal for recording applications. Sonically, the Invective 120 covers a wide range - from crystal clear clean, to rich crunch, to aggressive high gain metal sound. Crunch and lead channel clearly have 6505 genes!

Peavey Electronics – powerful sound since 1965
Peavey Electronics stands like few other names for uncompromising sound, innovation and reliability in the field of electric guitar amplifiers. Founded in 1965 by the then 23‑year‑old Hartley Peavey in a garage in Meridian, Mississippi, the company developed within a few decades into one of the world's leading manufacturers of musical instruments and audio technology. The vision was clear from the start: to make professional technology accessible and affordable for everyone – without sonic compromise.
Especially in the world of guitar amplifiers Peavey has secured a firm place in music history. With legendary models like the 6505®, originally created in collaboration with Eddie Van Halen as the "5150", or the versatile Classic® 30, Peavey has shaped entire music genres – particularly rock, hard rock and metal. The combination of brutal high‑gain sound, enormous presence and rugged construction makes Peavey amps a preferred choice for both stage and studio.
Alongside iconic tube amplifiers, Peavey also stands for technological innovation. With the company's own TransTube® technology they succeeded in convincingly emulating the dynamics and playing feel of tube amps in the world of solid‑state amplifiers – ideal for anyone seeking maximum reliability with minimal maintenance. Models like the Bandit 112 have therefore enjoyed cult status among beginners and experienced guitarists alike for decades.
Whether you're looking for a versatile combo for rehearsal room and club, a brutal tube head for the big stage or a reliable partner in the studio: Peavey delivers powerful solutions for modern guitar sounds – built with experience, passion and a feel for practical use.

Perfect amp. A lot of features, midi, two loop, gate, drive and master boost etc. The clean channel is awesome, the lead is killer. I use this with my Mesa oversized 4x12 cabinet. I am very pleased!
