With the WA-87, Warm Audio restores the classic and presents more than just another replica of a great studio tool. The WA-87 large membrane condenser microphone is based on the early, original '87 models and promises to transport the classic warm sound of the model at an affordable price.

WarmAudio has consistently delivered high-quality components to the WA-87, such as Fairchild FETs and CineMag transmitters, and thus reproduces the open and warm sound of the model. Furthermore, for the WA-87, WarmAudio has developed its own capsule called "Lens condenser", which faithfully reflect the sound properties of the early K-87 capsules.

Thanks to the switchable directivity characteristics of the cardioid, sphere and eight as well as the great sound characteristics, the WA-87 is very versatile and flexible to use. Whether on the radio, in orchestral recordings or as a vocal microphone, the WA-87 delivers impressive results. Additional features such as the LoCut filter and the switchable pad make the WA-87 the ultimate all-rounder and workhorse in the studio.
