The NT1 5th Generation Black is a large diaphragm condenser microphone that combines the familiar sound of the successful NT1-A with state-of-the-art technology.
It offers Rode's Dual Connect output, which includes an XRL and USB-C connection and can therefore be operated both classically on a microphone preamplifier, mixing console or interface as well as directly on the computer - ideal for travelling if you don't always want to have a separate audio interface with you. With 32-bit float digital conversion, the NT1 5th Generation is virtually unclippable. This guarantees a time-saving workflow. You get the same warm, silky sound with subtle presence enhancement and high limiting sound pressure levels that are familiar from the NT1-A. The HF6 1" gold-vapour-plated condenser capsule is installed. With a self-noise level of just 4 dBA, this mic is one of the world's lowest-noise studio condenser microphones. The NT1 5th Generation can be used on a wide variety of sound sources: voice, guitar, piano/grand piano, percussion and much more can be handled with ease.
