The AKG D112 MKII is a professional dynamic bass drum microphone and features a new integrated flexible mounting system while retaining the acoustic strengths of its predecessor. Over the years the D112 has rightly established itself worldwide as one of the best bass drum microphones on the market, distinguished by its high maximum sound pressure level, punchy frequency response and extremely rugged construction. It can handle sound pressure levels of up to 160 dB without distortion, and the low resonance frequency of the dynamic large-diaphragm capsule provides a compact and powerful reproduction below 100 Hz.
