Product information "Rode M5-MP"
Small diaphragm microphones are inherently for Woodwinds, Strings, as well as overheads and all other instruments with filigree sound components due to their high resolution and "fast" signaling. RØDE has developed the M5, a microphone that can even benefit users with limited budget to be able to deliver studio-quality recordings.
The M5 is 10 cm in length, one of the shortest small diaphragm mics on the market and therefore ideal for placing at critical points and thanks to the black ceramic coating extremely inconspicuous. The aluminum housing is corrosion-resistant nickel-plated, then enamel powder is applied uniformly by electrostatic process and then baked on. The result: a high-quality, scratch-resistant finish, which even looks good after years of use.

Innovation from Australia
RØDE is an Australian manufacturer of microphones and audio accessories based in Sydney. The company was founded in 1967 and has developed since the 1990s into one of the world’s leading brands in recording, broadcast and content‑creation audio.
RØDE became internationally known above all for its large‑diaphragm condenser microphones, which made professional sound quality available at an attractive price. Models like the NT1 or NT1‑A quickly established themselves in the home and project studio sector and remain a staple of many music and speech productions to this day.
Over the years RØDE has continuously expanded its range. In addition to studio condenser microphones, the portfolio today also includes dynamic microphones, broadcast and podcast microphones, video and camera microphones, lavalier and wireless systems as well as extensive accessories. Especially in the areas of content creation, streaming and mobile recording, RØDE offers practical solutions for modern production environments.
A central feature of the brand is the close linkage of technical development, manufacturing expertise and quality control at its Australian site. RØDE relies on modern production processes and high quality standards, which is reflected in the longevity and reliability of its products.
Today RØDE microphones are used worldwide in home studios, professional recording studios, broadcasting organisations and by content creators. The brand stands for reliable audio quality, innovative technologies and strong value for money.
