The DynaCaster was specifically designed and developed for speech, broadcast and studio applications. The newly developed DMC8 capsule and the integrated DYNAMITE preamplifier deliver excellent sonic characteristics, high sensitivity and low noise. The patented integrated mounting of the capsule allows operation without a microphone shock mount, which greatly simplifies handling and significantly increases reliability.
The three recessed switches on the back of the microphone allow adjustment to individual circumstances and personal preferences.
The DynaCaster is compatible with all common microphone arms. To keep cabling as unobtrusive as possible—especially for on-camera applications—the XLR socket has been integrated into the microphone. Thanks to the integrated three-stage pop filter, an external bulky pop filter can usually be omitted. It provides an efficient reduction of plosive distortion from sounds like "p" or "t" and can be easily removed for cleaning. An external windscreen is also included as standard.
All product features that benefit speech and broadcast applications are also advantageous in studio use and on stage. The DynaCaster is therefore also suitable for many other applications such as vocal recordings and the miking of acoustic instruments and amplifiers.
