Universal Audio UAFX Dream '65 reverb Amplifier
Includes two mods
The layout mirrors the other UAFX pedals but is tailored to the control concept of the '65 valve combo. Even the Vibrato effect and a spring reverb have been faithfully modelled and are adjustable via the Alt function. The Dream is astonishingly authentic. The matte-black pedal impresses with a realistic dynamic response. Modifications inspired by Dumble and Rivera give the tones their character. You can switch from stock operation with switchable Boost into a clean Lead mode with rich gain. The D-Tex mod removes the (virtual) tremolo driver tube, giving you more gain for singing solo tones. Lovely!
DSP power in the pedal
Universal Audio is a market leader in modelling effects and studio gear. This experience feeds into the UAFX Amp pedals, and you can hear it. Two inputs and two outputs, plus USB and app connectivity, provide extensive connection options. The pedal can be used effortlessly with a real guitar amplifier via the four-cable method. If you want to put your beloved overdrive/distortion pedal in front of the pedal, you can do so without any problems.
Three speaker models (GB25, Oxford and EV12) can be selected directly via toggle switches on the top panel. Three additional cab simulations become available after registering the Dream '65. The Bass, Treble and Boost knobs shape the sound; spring reverb and tremolo add refinement, and the Mod switch will put a smile on your face. More sounds can be uploaded or downloaded via the app.

Product information "Universal Audio UAFX Dream '65 reverb Amplifier"
After the successful UAFX delay, reverb and modulation pedals, Universal Audio has now turned its attention to classic guitar amps. The DREAM Reverb Amplifier Pedal is dedicated to a true amp icon - the legendary 65 Blackface Combo - the guitar amp with the pearly clean tone. The stereo pedal delivers the characteristic Blackface sound - brilliant clean sound and creamy lead. There are 3 on-board speaker simulations (known from the OX Box): Celestion Greenback. Oxford 12K5-6 and Electro-Voice EVM12L are available - when using the UAFX Control App you have access to further speaker simulations: Two-Rock 2 x 12" Celestion G-12 65, Vintage Super Reverb Cab with 4 x 10" CTS and 68 Twin Reverb 2 x 12" JBL D-120F. Also on board is an authentic spring reverb simulation with the characteristic "drip" and the legendary Fender vibrato. With the optional UAFX app, the pedal can be extensively edited and fine-tuned to your liking or new presets can be loaded. The speaker and microphone simulations can be switched to bypass so that the DREAM '65 Reverb can also be used in front of a conventional guitar amp.

Pioneer in audio recording for more than 50 years
Founded in 1958 by Bill Putnam Sr., Universal Audio has long been synonymous with innovative recording equipment. As the favourite engineer of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles and others, Bill was a passionate innovator who is regarded as the father of modern audio recording. Many of his legendary studio and equipment designs are still in use today. B. Putnam was the inventor of the modern mixing console, the multiband audio equaliser and he was the first engineer to use artificial reverb on commercial recordings. Alongside his friend Les Paul, Bill was also involved in the early development of stereophonic recording.
Putnam, known as a driven entrepreneur, founded three audio product companies during his long career: Universal Audio, Studio Electronics and Urei. All three companies built devices that were widely adopted after their introduction and would shape the studio sound for generations. The boutique compressors LA-2A and 1176 and the 610 tube console are among these legends. Artists such as Sinatra, the Beach Boys and Van Halen recorded their studio albums on the 610 console.
Universal Audio was re-established in 1999 by Bill's sons James Putnam and Bill Putnam Jr. The plan was twofold: on the one hand to faithfully reproduce classic analogue recording gear in their father's tradition; and on the other to bring the sound and spirit of vintage analogue technology into the new digital recording tools .
By now impressive effects pedals for guitarists and specialised guitar-recording tools such as the Universal Audio OX are also part of the range and are extremely popular with fans of outstanding tone.
