Catalinbread has reproduced the classic circuit with JFET transistors. 55 Pedal. 2 operating modes are available: LO corresponds to the standard deluxe variant with a low gain 12AY7 preamp tube - glassy round clean tone and gentle distortion at full throttle. HI emulates the sound of a amp equipped with a more powerful 12AX7 preamp, and a full, round overdrive sound is heard at full throttle, which can be heard on countless recordings.
