The Ibanez AAM50 is a steel-string acoustic guitar with an Advanced Auditorium body. The top is made of Sitka spruce, which provides a warm tone. The back and sides are made of sapele, a wood that offers a more affordable alternative to mahogany. The neck is Okoume and the fretboard is Purpleheart with white dot fretboard inlays. The rosette consists of several ABS rings. The nut and saddle are made of plastic and the guitar has a matte finish. The scale length is 25" (635 mm) and it is 6-string. In addition, the guitar features a soundport on the upper bout and Ibanez's X-M bracing. The guitar comes factory-fitted with D'Addario EXP16 strings, which are ideal for beginners.
