This new Taylor model offers exceptional value for money for budget-conscious players who long for the excellent playability and balanced tone of a Taylor guitar with a standard scale length. Both feature the popular cutaway Grand Auditorium body, loved for its refined proportions and versatile musical character, as well as a solid mahogany top (soundboard) and back and sides of African sapele.
Inside, the V-Class bracing architecture provides more volume, sustain and improved intonation. A slim Taylor maple neck offers silky-smooth playability on the solid ebony fretboard. The 14ce model is distinguished by a clean visual aesthetic, with 4 mm dot inlays made of Italian acrylic, a single-ring black rosette, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, chrome tuning machines and a satin finish. Both the 14ce and the related 24ce come equipped with Fishman Sonitone GT-2 acoustic electronics with a soundhole-mounted preamp featuring tone and volume controls. The guitar is supplied with a Taylor gig bag.
