The guitar workshop Eastman Guitars has its origins in the company Eastman Strings. Eastman Strings was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni in Beijing and originally started with the handcrafted production of high-quality violins, violas, cellos and double basses. Because the traditional craftsmanship and the resulting instruments are still highly valued today, the workshop quickly expanded its range to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and fully solid guitars.
These instruments are created with the same craft skill and precise workmanship as the string instruments, which makes the semi-acoustic models a definite recommendation to try for all jazz and blues guitarists searching for a new instrument. The semi-acoustic guitars are available as Thinline, Archtop and even as a Signature Archtop model.
