The Earth Series is reminiscent of the dreadnoughts of the Golden Era of acoustic guitar in terms of appearance and sound. These guitars impress with uncompromising quality, full sound and excellent value for money. The solid spruce top offers an ideal balance between strength and flexibility. Spruce is tonally very variable and can be used for a variety of musical genres and playing styles. The mahogany used for the back and sides is noticeably softer and fuller sounding than rosewood. The plain rosette gives the guitar a very subtle and timeless look. The open-pored, extremely thin finish improves the vibration characteristics of the guitar and gives it a fuller and louder sound. The bridge, redesigned by Cort down to the last detail, improves the vibration transmission of the strings to the bridge and the top. In addition, the contour construction gives the bridge extra stability.
