Reinterpretation of a bestseller

The OM-250E is based on the Guild bestseller OM-240E and offers the same unbeatable design, construction and value, but with an upgrade to rosewood for the back and sides. This mid-sized acoustic in Orchestra (OM) shape is equally suited to flatpicking and fingerpicking and produces a rich, balanced tone with smooth playability.
The Guild OM-250E features classic design elements appreciated by players across the company's 70-year history and is an acoustic guitar that delivers incredible value for money. Construction features include a solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped X-bracing, an Archback body design, bone nut and bridge saddle, a Guild x Fishman GT-1 pickup system and a tortoise pickguard.

Archback construction

As a maker of premium archtop guitars, Guild was the first to introduce a domed back on acoustic guitars — a technique that sets Guild instruments apart. This Archback construction provides:

Improved projection - a deeper, more contoured body that enhances projection.
Reduced weight - no back bracing, which cuts weight and improves resonance.
Stability - the arching adds structure and strength, increasing stability.

Guild x Fishman GT-1 Pickup System

With the Fishman S-Core piezo and soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls for easier operation, you can enjoy your acoustic sound through an amp without drilling holes in the sides or compromising the acoustic body design.

Guild OM body

Guild's OM body shape sits right in the middle of the body sizes in the Guild acoustic range: smaller than a Dreadnought (D) and larger than a Concert (M). It's equally suited to strumming and fingerpicking and produces a warm, balanced tone. OMs are among the most popular body shapes for acoustic guitars, and combined with a 25.5" scale length (648 mm) the OM-250E is the perfect, comfortable choice for the versatile player.

Guild Lightweight Satin Finish

The Guild Lightweight Satin Finish creates an ultra-thin satin surface that is especially light and durable. At first glance you'll notice open pores without heavy grain filling or an excessively thick lacquer that would inhibit the guitar's vibration. Guitars with this finish are known for their warm, woody sound. The Lightweight Satin Finish results in a natural, smooth coating with a subtle grain texture.
