The 8330A studio monitor from Genelec's SAM series adapts perfectly to the listening environment. Especially in small rooms that are acoustically critical, it provides significantly improved monitoring conditions.
Automatic measurement and control are carried out via the GLM software. With up to 16 fully parametric and 4 shelving filters it drastically reduces the distorting influences of room modes. The sound image is linearised and the high resolution and transparency guarantee relaxed, analytical listening.
In the robust die-cast aluminium enclosure two Class-D amplifiers deliver 50 watts each for the woofer and the tweeter. Through the bass reflex port the speaker produces deep-reaching bass despite its compact dimensions. The rounded cabinet edges improve localisation and spatial imaging. And the DCW waveguide ensures linear dispersion with a wide listening window.
