The Polar 4 from BLACKSTAR is a four-channel audio interface designed specifically for guitarists. As the only audio interface on the market, the Polar features a FET input stage and an Enhance function that imitates the behaviour and characteristics of tube amplifier input stages. The innovative input stage never clips digitally, so you can operate the interface like an amplifier. In addition, BLACKSTAR invested a lot of time in developing the Polar’s preamps, which can rival one of the most famous preamps in studio history: the Neve 1081. The Polar 4’s innovative features, together with an incredibly low noise floor of 115 dB, 48V phantom power and headphone outputs capable of driving both high- and low-impedance headphones, make Polar the ideal audio interface for musicians who record guitar and audio.
