The Fireface UCX II from the renowned RME brand is the successor to the infamous Fireface UCX. With 40 input and output channels and a wide range of possible applications, the Fireface UCX II sets a new standard for compact audio interfaces in 9.5" rack format at a professional level.
With up to 20 recording and 20 playback channels, SteadyClock FS, high-performance microphone inputs, parametric EQ, USB direct recording and stand-alone functionality, the Fireface UCX II offers independence and excitement for every demanding user. Hardly any other audio interface offers more connection options and functions on 9.5".
At the front, the Fireface UCX II has two mic/line preamps as combo jacks and two line/instrument inputs via 6.3 mm jacks, which can be individually digitally controlled. Next to them are the headphone input, some selector buttons, the display and the volume and selection controls. At the rear of the interface are ten balanced line inputs and outputs, MIDI I/O, ADAT I/O, AES/EBU and SPDIF I/O, USB 2.0 connection and a word clock I/O. All inputs and outputs of the Fireface UCX II can be recorded directly to a USB storage medium using the digital DURec(Direct USB Recording) function. The DSP is used for this, so that you can also record independently of a computer. Stand-alone field recordings, concert and rehearsal recordings or the playback of live recordings for virtual sound checks - the Fireface UCX II can be used for a wide range of applications.
With SteadyClock FS, the professional device features the latest clock and jitter suppression technology. Based on a femto clock, SteadyClock FS reduces the Fireface UCX II's own jitter to a minimum.
The DSP-based TotalMix FX mixer with its powerful routing and monitoring options as well as the DIGICheck analysis tool, with which the digital data streams from and to the Fireface UCX II can be measured and analysed with high precision, are included in the scope of delivery.
