Conventional Bluetooth connections produce significant audio latency, which is problematic for DJ monitoring. However, when you connect the dedicated HP‑TX01 transmitter to a DJ mixer, SonicLink becomes available and ensures seamless mixing enjoyment. SonicLink transmits signals with a latency of just 9 ms — 20× faster than the commonly used Bluetooth SBC codec. Latencies of this magnitude are imperceptible and allow precise monitoring and mixing. The transmitter is compact, lightweight and easy to transport with the rest of your gear.

The HDJ‑F10 is AlphaTheta’s flagship headphone, developed with a particular focus on sound quality. The newly developed 40 mm driver features a PEEK‑PU‑PEEK composite diaphragm made from two different materials, delivering high‑resolution sound from low to high frequencies so even the smallest musical details are clearly audible. The housing design combines a bass‑reflex port and an air chamber to provide high sound isolation while extending and enhancing low frequencies. This lets you monitor punchy, powerful kick sounds even in a loud DJ booth. It also makes the headphones suitable for studio‑level work across a variety of situations, from DJing and music production to monitoring tracks when preparing sets.

Bluetooth and Noise Cancelling mode — for a complete DJ workflow
With active Noise Cancelling mode and Transparency mode you are prepared for all scenarios. When preparing tracks you can choose whether to reduce or let ambient sounds through while the headphones are connected to a device via Bluetooth. In Noise Cancelling mode ambient noise is suppressed — even in a busy city — allowing pure music enjoyment as if you were listening in the studio. In Transparency mode external sounds are allowed through so you can still converse with people around you while listening.
Long battery life for long DJ sets
Count on it: the headphones will last through long DJ sets. With a full battery you get nine hours over SonicLink or 30 hours over Bluetooth. If you prefer the classic approach you can alternatively use a cable during your set.
