The Line 6 POD was an absolute sensation when it was launched in 1998 - the handy, kidney-shaped preamp delivered sensationally authentic amp, speaker and effect simulations for its time. It has never been easier to produce good guitar sound live and in the studio. Over the years there have been various updates and new versions - the POD GO represents the current state of POD evolution. The clearly laid out floor unit offers the best sounds from the Line 6 Flaggshiff Helix, the M series and the Legacy pedals. Up to 6 amps and effect modellings can be operated simultaneously, as with the Helix, snapshots can be programmed to enable instantaneous, lightning-fast programme changes, an IR loader for up to 128 IRs from third-party providers is also on board. Operation is similar to the Helix, and the colour-coded footswitches have also been adopted. Any parameters can be changed with the integrated expression pedal. If one pedal is not enough - no problem - the POD GO offers 2 additional connections for additional expression pedals or footswitches. External effect pedals can be integrated via the FX Loop. With the free POD GO Edit app, programming your own sounds is child's play.

Line 6. Few names are more associated with modelling and innovative sound design than the Californian soundsmith. The brand took off with the famous little red "bean", the Line 6 Pocket POD, in the early 2000s. Suddenly musicians in the recording studio could access a wide range of amp and effect sounds without having to set up complex rigs and mic them. "Modelling" suddenly entered the mainstream, appeared on almost every studio console and delivered sounds to home headphones. At session the POD series remains a top seller to this day, with each generation — POD 2.0, POD XT, POD HD500 — adding new features like improved sound, many more amp models and hundreds of effects. Current models like the Line 6 POD GO even offer the ability to use multiple rigs simultaneously, letting you play complex sounds with several amps and effects at once.
For professionals, Line 6 expanded its product range in 2015 with Helix, a kind of high-end POD offering endless possibilities to dial in the perfect sound. With professional routing options, displays on the footswitches showing the current setup and what was at the time the most realistic sound in LINE 6's history, the Helix can still be found on stages and in studios around the world. The Helix LT, a reduced model with fewer features, and the HX Stomp, a very compact, more affordable variant, later broadened the Californian's range with stripped-down options for smaller budgets. HX Effects completes the Helix family as a pure effects module without amp sounds and is extremely popular at session!

Line 6 modelling didn't start in pedal form, but reached musicians first as a kind of all-in-one amp, the AxSYS 212, which contained a wide variety of classic amp sounds from clean to metal. From these roots later came classics like the Line 6 VETTA II, but also an absolute beginner top seller: the Spider! Today the Line 6 Spider V MkII is a true classic among beginner amplifiers and offers great sound for home, music school, rehearsal room or first stages for modest money, regardless of musical style.

Mi primera pedalera y debo decir que cumple con las expectativas, aun asi, es mi primera asi que no puedo comparar, debo decir que diria que suena mejor en digital que en vivo en mi opinion, otra cosa es que solo te deja juntar 4 pedales de efectos lo cual me parece poco pero compensa con los snapshots. Aun asi una muy buena eleccion para principiantes.
Intuitive präzise bedienung.
Eigentlich war ich nur auf der Suche nach einem Phaser, um mir einen gepflegten 80er- Jahre Hardrock-/ Metallsound zu basteln und bin dann schlussendlich beim PodGo hängen geblieben. Das Problem kennen die meisten: Man fängt an zu suchen, zu hören und zu vergleichen und auf einmal kann man mal wieder alles brauchen, um diverse Sounds aus dem Kopf nachzubauen. Der PodGo bietet einem zig Effekte, um seine Soundvorstellungen Genre- übergreifend zu verwirklichen, ohne ein Vermögen für Tretmienen ausgeben zu müssen. Als Goodie gibt es die Amp- und Boxensimulationen. (Oder eben andersherum :-)) Bis zu 8 Effekt lassen sich in Reihe vor/ hinter und zwischen Amp und Box anordnen. Die Amps klingen aus meiner Sicht gut, ob exakt wie die Originale kann ich nur beim 5150 (Panama) und den Marshall- Kopien (2204, etc.) vergleichen und da macht der Line6 einen guten Job. Auf jeden Fall kann man jeden Amp auf diverse Arten tweaken und sich so an das Original oder das, was man dafür hält, herantasten. Die Boxensimulationen (IR) sind ok (nur am Kopfhörer genutzt), ich nutze den PodGo aber wie eine Vorstufe und füttere damit den Return von meinem Amp, damit ich die Endstufe und meine 4x12"- Box höre. Dann sind die Amps (s.o.) sehr überzeugend. (Hinweis: Die Boxensimulation muss dann aus, sonst schickt man eine Box durch eine Box und das klingt k...cke). Wirklich bemerkenswert was digital inzwischen alles so geht. Die Effekte - 180 an der Zahl - sind gut. Diverse Zerrer von zart bis hart, zeitbasierte Effekte und EQs funktionieren gut, klingen für mich gut und sind allein den Preis des PodGo wert, wenn man bedenkt, wieviel das alles als Einzelpedale kosten würde. Schön aus meiner Sicht ist, dass man viel Probieren kann. Nicht so schön ist, dass man Gefahr läuft sich zu verzetteln und zu viel bastelt und zu wenig spielt. Die Werkspresets geben aber eine gute Übersicht, über das was geht und sind für mich eine Ausgangsbasis zum tweaken. Manche Presets sind zwar etwas "over the top", aber es soll ja gezeigt werden, was gehen könnte, wenn man denn möchte. Man muss sie ja nicht nutzen. Zum Recording kann ich aktuell nichts sagen, da ich es noch nicht probiert habe. Alles in allem ein gutes Gerät zu einem faire Preis, ich würde es noch einmal kaufen.
Sounds in Helix Qualität zum kleinen Preis. Leicht und intuitiv zu konfigurieren. Updates der Firmware und Programmierung via Mac funktionieren über die Software tadellos. Super Teil, bleibt auf jeden Fall bei mir. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen, es gibt leider keine wirklich gute Lösung für Akustikgitarre. Aber, mit ein wenig tricksen bekommt man auch da was ansprechendes hin. Die Möglichkeiten für Bass sind ok. Kann man auf jeden Fall mit arbeiten.
Das Gerät hält was der Hersteller verspricht. Gute Sounds , gute Bedienbarkeit zu einem fairen Preis. Gut Verarbeitets Gehäuse, solider Eindruck und nach 2 Wochen testen keinerlei Probleme aufgetreten.
Very versatile and handy device. Sounds are oké plug and play, but there is more quality if you are willing to put some time and effort in it. It takes some effort to get to know the pod go, but line 6 offers good software. I prefer to work on my sounds through desktop/laptop/etc. Alltough it has a bit less power/options then it’s bigger brothers (helix) for me this was the best bang for my bucks. I don’t use a lot of stuf on those devices. Very happy with this one!
+Sounds sind echt toll - Sender Arbeitet leider mit Unterbrechungen Um allgemeinen aber ein gutes Gerät.
Ich hab sie alle gehabt, aber diese POD Variante stellt alle in den Schatten. Absolut überzeugend ist der Dynamikumfang und damit das Spielgefühl. Helix LT und der Große können zwar mehr Effekte in Reihe und auch Parallel, das brauch ich als Purist nicht, die nötigsten sind da und das passt mir. Zur Not könnte man ja auch noch was einschleifen.
Line6 PodGo kan men omschrijven als een veelzijdige en flexibele gadget. Ik ben nog geen nadelen tegengekomen.
