Product information "Electro Harmonix Pico Atomic Cluster"
Electro Harmonix not only offers classic effect pedals but also always has quirky, unusual and unique effects in its range. From the Pico DSP series comes the Atomic Cluster pedal - EHX quote: a Spectral Decomposer effect. It sounds like a secret weapon from Star Wars, but it's a cool effect for wild sounds and arpeggios. The frequency resolution of the input signal is scaled down and modulated by an oscillator - producing typical glitch sounds, rhythmic arpeggios and even ambient and pad soundscapes. Turn the Atoms knob counter-clockwise and the frequency spectrum of the input signal is reduced and broken into individual pixels. The Speed control lets you control the "Timing" and the rhythmic playback of the effect (also via a tap tempo footswitch). The Mode switch lets you choose between Smooth (the individual pixels glide into each other) or Sharp (each transient is reproduced separately). The dry signal can be blended in continuously with the Blend control.
A cool, novel effect for sound tinkerers - also very cool for keyboards.

Electro-Harmonix was founded in 1968 by Mike Matthews and is known for groundbreaking innovations in analogue audio signal processing, digital delay, digital sampling and polyphonic real-time processing. EHX effect pedals are used by professional and amateur guitarists, bassists, keyboard players, producers, studio engineers, DJs, vocalists and a wide variety of musicians and instrumentalists.
Since the beginnings in 1968, when founder Mike Matthews ushered in the era of overdrive with the revolutionary LPB-1 Linear Power Booster, Electro-Harmonix has been at the forefront of electric guitar sound development. With a core product line of over 150 guitar effect pedals, from fuzz through delay and modulation to synthesiser pedals, the sound of Electro-Harmonix products is so compelling that they have been imitated and copied by several other pedal makers.
In addition to effects units, Electro-Harmonix also offers high-quality tubes for guitar amplifiers, Bluetooth headphones and speakers as well as various accessories for guitars and basses.
