The BOSS SY-1 transforms any guitar or bass into a versatile and inspiring synthesiser. The technology is derived from the popular SY-300 and offers an enormous selection of analogue-style synthesizer sounds. What's more, all sounds are polyphonic, so you can play single notes as well as chords. Equipped with 121 sounds in eleven categories, the SY-1 guitar synthesiser offers an enormous variety of synthesiser sounds. Expressive leads, floating pads, organs, massive basses and a variety of rhythmic synthesiser patterns are available. You can also customise each sound using the easily accessible Tone/Rate and Depth controls. Of course, you can also mix the synth sounds with the guitar signal. Thanks to the standard BOSS compact format, the SY-1 fits easily into any pedalboard.

Très sympa pour explorer de nouvelles sonorités avec une guitare lorsqu'on ne sait pas jouer d'un clavier. Je l'utilise chez moi couplé à une pédale looper Boss RC3 pour enregistrer des nappes et des basses et jouer par-dessus. Ne semble pas adéquat pour jouer sur scène car ne possède pas de mémorisation des patchs comme ses grands frères (beaucoup plus chers). Un produit bien amusant avec son éventail de 121 sons (dont certains se ressemblent beaucoup), pour donner une seconde vie à ses grattes. Je ne regrette pas cet achat.
Ein kleiner Treter mit viel, für mich zuviel Einstellmöglichkeiten! Der Sound ist erstaunlich gut und es macht Spaß damit zu jammen. Aber für die Bühne finde ich nicht geeignet, weil man für jede neue Einstellung in die Knie gehen muss. Das abspeichern der gewünschten Sounds ist leider nicht möglich, was bei dem Preis auch nicht zu erwarten ist.
Muy divertido y versatil, la verdad que con un delay y reverb se completa un sonido muy bueno, los sonidos aveces se parecen mucho entre si pero cada uno tiene un mztiz diferente asi que esta bien, lo recomiendo si te gusta el sonido synth

Bin sehr beeindruckt von den Sounds des SY-1, die klingen alle sehr gut und sind sicherlich gut einzusetzen. Das Tracking ist quasi nicht spürbar. Volles Potential entfaltet es erst mit einem Doppel-Fußtaster, der dann bei einigen Synthie Einstellungen auch ein TapTempo ermöglicht. Bin sehr zufrieden und würde ihn wieder kaufen. Wer Presets braucht muss sich halt in anderen Preisregionen umschauen.
