The Bogner Ecstasy 104GV brings the legendary Ecstasy concept to a new level: four fully switchable channels, a revised control layout and the characteristic Bogner sound with an American‑tuned “Gold Voicing” character on a 6L6 basis. For guitarists who want to switch between crystal‑clear cleans, open crunch and modern high gain without needing three manuals and a therapist.
New on board is the Purple Channel ("Zero Channel"), which covers everything from dynamic cleans to gritty mid‑gain. The familiar Green, Blue and Red voicings remain, of course, delivering the full Ecstasy spectrum from Plexi‑like rock to rich 80s lead tones.
Channels 0 and 1 share a common 3‑band EQ and each offer separate Gain and Volume controls as well as individual 3‑way Pre‑EQ switches. Channel 0 also features a scooped voicing for more modern sounds. Channels 2 and 3 likewise have individual Gain and Volume controls, optimised Pre‑EQ switches and switchable Modern modes. The Blue/Red Gain Structure Selector further expands the range with classic and modern gain structures. People love options. Amplifiers do now, too.
Global tone‑shaping features such as Tone Shift, Presence and Depth allow precise tailoring of the overall sound. There is also a switchable Boost function for extra gain and sustain on demand.
The Ecstasy 104GV is uncompromisingly professional in its setup: switchable FX loop with an Always‑On option, MIDI switching, Power Scaling for big tones at controllable volume and a Line Out for recording or live use. Multiple speaker outputs provide flexible cabinet connections. The supplied 6‑button footswitch gives direct access to channels, Boost and the effects loop.
Visually Bogner stays true to its line: black Levant Tolex, salt‑and‑pepper grillcloth, gold piping and black knobs. Elegant enough for the studio. Brutal enough for the stack beside it.
