The LD Systems SAT62AG2 is the active version of the SAT62G2. The compact 2-way loudspeaker is suitable not only for installation but also as a monitor in the home studio and for other sound reinforcement tasks.
The bass-reflex design is fitted with a 6.5" custom woofer and a 1" silk dome with waveguide, driven by a Class AB amplifier delivering 50 W RMS with overcurrent protection. An XLR-TRS combo jack serves as the input, and an XLR socket allows the signal to be looped through. The reproduction is balanced and dynamic across the full frequency range of 55 Hz - 20 kHz and reaches a maximum sound pressure level of 108 dB. The SAT62AG2 features a switchable power-saving mode that automatically switches to standby if no signal is present for 3 minutes.
The 12 mm thick MDF enclosure with a durable textured lacquer is available in black and white and is equipped with M6 flying points. A supplied mounting bracket offers further fixing options; a universal swivel bracket is available as an accessory.
