The NEW CENTURY DTL is a further development of the NEW CENTURY LATTICE.
The combination of a doubletop soundboard (sandwich construction with cedar/Nomex/carbon) and a lattice bracing made of spruce delivers even more dynamic range and balance. The flat top construction together with the steeper excitation angle created by the "elevated fingerboard" also supports these characteristics.
All other details have been adopted from the NEW CENTURY LATTICE.
The "elevated fingerboard" construction sets new standards: it allows easier fingering in the higher positions and the monitor sound hole provides better on-stage monitoring. The new bridge made of thermo-treated service tree achieves a noticeably lower weight and reduced damping compared with a rosewood bridge. The armrest provides comfortable playing.
This combination makes the NEW CENTURY DTL an exceptionally good instrument in terms of price/performance within the higher, modern classical guitar sector.
