These pickguards are built with top‑quality components in the same factory as Fender's legendary guitars and are easy to install. Simply remove your old pickguard, solder the output jack and ground wire, screw in the new pickguard and you're ready to rock with pure Fender tone.
No other pickup delivers the powerful, clean and bright surf‑rock sound of a mid‑60s Stratocaster as well as the carefully made, punchy Pure Vintage '65 Strat pickups. From the classic bobbin construction to the original wiring, all Fender Pure Vintage pickups are wound to precise specifications to ensure an authentic, traditional Fender tone and performance. The reverse‑wound middle pickup with reverse polarity eliminates the 60‑cycle hum in positions 2 and 4 and gives those positions the classic Stratocaster sound.
