The Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster 3TS is basically an updated Player II Strat: alder body with bolt-on maple/rosewood neck with rounded fretboard edges, updated hardware—2-point tremolo with steel block saddles and locking tuners. Instead of the Alnico V single coils found on the Player II, the Player II Modified guitars are equipped with 2 Fender Noiseless pickups and a Modified Humbucker, volume pot with treble bleed circuit and a push/pull pot for coil split.
