Engl has shrunk the Fireball! With the FireballE633 Engl has introduced a mini version of the successful Fireball top - the characteristic Fireball sound in a handy format. Metal and Nu Rock sounds are the domain of the small tube top. The output power of 25 watts is sufficient for the rehearsal room or club gigs - if needed the amp can be tamed to 5 or 1 watt. A noise gate is also on board to get the noise under control during absolute high gain orgies.

Realmente Genial! Un sonido increíble! Unos limpios muy nítidos y claros.. Y la saturación de válvulas increíbles! He usado todo tipo de amplis de válvulas y el carácter de este me sorprende! Sin duda volvería a comprarlo . Muy contento con la compra!
I needed an amp that could be played at apartment/bedroom levels but still sounded good, and looked cool. This amp can be played whisper soft or screaming loud, it sounds amazing and with the white finish it doesn't look out of place with the rest of the apartment. Just perfect.
Der Engl Fireball 25 hat bei mir Einzug erhalten, nachdem ich bisher vergeblich versuchte, einen Laney GH50L zufriedenstellend zuhause zu betreiben. Der Laney ist einfach zu laut, klingt aber mit steigenden Dezibel umso genialer, sodass ein Attenuator wenig Abhilfe schaffte bzw. neue Probleme mit sich brachte. Der Fireball 25 scheint mir ein perfekter Begleiter für zuhause zu sein. Das zwei Kanal-Layout erweitere ich mit einem OD-808 um ein Crunch-Setting zu erzeugen. Crunch kann der Amp auch, aber seine Stärken sind eher im Feld der härteren Gangart. Im FX-Loop hängen dann noch ein Delay, ein Reverb und ein Tremolo, die alle sauber und harmonisch rüberkommen. Auch wenn Engl einen entsprechenden Ruf hat und auch hier das Gain sehr überzeugt, ist der Amp nicht nur auf Rock und Metal beschränkt, sondern, vielleicht abgesehen vom Jazz, in quasi allen Genres einsetzbar. Die Pros: - glasklarer, fetter Cleansound - im Verhältnis zur Größe eine Top-Ausstattung (2-Kanal, FX-Loop, Mid-Boost, zweite Lautstärke, Attenuator, Noise-Gate) - brachiales Gain - harmonisiert prima mit Pedalen, bis auf (siehe Cons) - wunderbar ausgepegelt, fast alle Klang-Regler stehen irgendwo bei 12Uhr - made in Germany Das Neutrale (weil Geschmacksache) - ich find ihn, gerade im Vergleich zum schwarzen oder roten Bruder, in weiß todschick! Die Cons: - leider hatte ich bisher zwei Aussetzer, wo der Amp von jetzt auf gleich keinen Mucks mehr von sich gegeben hat. Nach dem Abschalten und einer Ruhepause lief dann alles wieder. Trotzdem etwas besorgniserregend... - der Amp verträgt keinen Fuzz vor der Vorstufe, da kommt für mein Ohr nur Brizzel und Brazzel aus dem Speaker. - auch im abgeschalteten FX-Loop kommt noch Effekt-Signal durch, zugegebenermaßen sehr sehr leise. Fazit: Dieser Amp macht total Spaß, inspiriert, ist wunderbar ausgepegelt, sodass der Sound aller mir zur Verfügung stehenden Gitarren wunderbar wiedergegeben wird. Ein Punkt Abzug gibt es bei der Qualität und Preis/ Leistung "auf Verdacht" eben aufgrund der vorgekommenen Ausfälle, die mit Blick auf den Preis nicht vorkommen sollten. Sollten diese Erlebnisse einmalig bleiben, kann ich den Amp für zuhause, Home-Recording und für kleine Clubs/ -Bühnen nur wärmstens empfehlen.
