The guitar and bass modes of the Katana Go each offer 30 memory slots, which come preloaded with ready-to-play preset sounds. In the Boss Tone Studio you can tweak the presets, create completely new sounds or import Tone Setting presets from the larger Katana guitar and bass amps. You also have access to Boss Tone Exchange via the app, where you can download professionally assembled live sets and share your sounds with the global Boss community.

The Katana Go delivers high-quality sound anywhere, anytime - without external amplifiers, pedals or computer interfaces. Just switch it on, plug in in-ears or headphones, call up a preset and you're good to go. On the unit itself you can adjust the volume, select memory slots and operate basic functions. The integrated display also shows the current preset and the tuner. The rechargeable battery lets you play for up to five hours straight. The built-in 6.3 mm jack folds away, so you can slip the Katana Go into any bag and take it everywhere.
Authentic Katana sound
With the Boss Katana Go you can liven up your sessions with the original sounds of the famous Katana stage amplifiers. The guitar mode offers ten distinct amp types, including Clean, Crunch, the Boss High-Gain Brown, two models for electro-acoustic guitars and more. The bass mode includes the types Vintage, Modern and Flat, taken directly from the Katana bass amplifiers. Both modes include a vast collection of Boss effects that can be fully customised in the Boss Tone Studio app for iOS and Android.
Top-tier live sound with the Stage Feel function
The innovative Stage Feel function of the Katana Go delivers an immersive playing experience based on the advanced Boss Spatial Audio technology. Using presets you can place the amp and the backing at different positions within the sound field. This creates the impression of playing with a backline on stage or jamming with friends in a room. With the intuitive tools in Boss Tone Studio you can even tailor the spatial layout to suit your personal preferences.

With the KATANA: GO, BOSS is launching a powerful headphone amplifier. Compact, practical and fully equipped, the mini amp offers both guitarists and bassists authentic sounds from the popular Katana amplifiers.
In addition to the guitar mode with ten amplifier types and over 60 effects, a bass mode with three amplifier types and over 60 effects is also available. You have access to 30 user memory locations per mode.
The Stage Feel function offers an immersive headphone experience based on advanced BOSS spatial audio technology. The integrated OLED display shows the selected preset and is also used to display the integrated tuner.
Songs can be streamed from a smartphone or sounds edited via Bluetooth®. The free "BOSS Tone Studio" app for iOS and Android is available for this purpose. You can also use "BOSS Tone Exchange" to download Live Sets or share your own sets. It is also possible to import tone setting data from Katana guitar and bass amplifiers.
The KATANA:GO also allows you to record/play tracks in music production software on a computer or mobile device via USB-C®.
The optional EV-1-WL wireless MIDI expression pedal and FS-1-WL wireless footswitch can be used to implement wireless external foot control.
