The Evans EMAD2 series consists of two plies: the outer 6.5mil and the inner 10mil ply improve attack, focus and durability. The EMAD2 series includes two interchangeable damping rings that optimise attack and bass response without removing the head or reaching into the drum. The unique externally mounted, adjustable damping system (EMAD - Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping) is the industry standard and allows any player to adjust attack and focus.
