Walrus Audio AGES BLACK
Product information "Walrus Audio AGES BLACK"
With the Ages, Walrus Audio offers an extremely versatile overdrive pedal — 5 modes cover a wide range of classic overdrive sounds. Mode 1 delivers low gain with silicon-diode soft clipping; Mode 2 uses LEDs for a slightly snappier, more aggressive sound; Mode 3 is high gain with silicon-diode soft clipping; Mode 4 is high gain with LED clipping; and Mode 5 is high gain with silicon-diode hard clipping for a fat, compressed tone. The Dry control lets you blend in the dry direct signal — useful for adding the clean attack back when using heavy distortion. As always with Walrus Audio: cool artwork makes the pedal a real eye-catcher on the pedalboard. Black version.

Everything sounds better in black!
Walrus Audio brings selected Core pedals into the regular range as an elegant Black Edition. With Ages, Eons and Eras the three versatile “5-State” pedals are included, which, thanks to different clipping and gain modes, cover a wide spectrum from transparent boost through dynamic overdrive to aggressive distortion and characterful fuzz.
The line-up is rounded out by the popular modulation pedals Julia V2 and Julianna, which impress with fully analogue chorus and vibrato sounds, flexible LFO control and – in the case of the Julianna – expanded stereo and routing options. The result: proven Walrus tone, maximum sonic flexibility and a fresh, minimalist look – now available permanently.

At Walrus Audio one thing comes first: teamwork. In the boutique pedal workshop in Oklahoma City in the USA only people are employed who live and breathe playing guitar. When developing a new product design everyone pitches in and each person is involved in the creation to get the product's maximum potential. It is therefore no surprise that a large fanbase of professional musicians has formed who have become enthusiastic about Walrus Audio pedals.
