The Sela Tac Tic is a "3in1" multi-percussion instrument that is a completely new combination of castanets, jingles and shakers. It offers you a wide range of sound possibilities. You can use it as an add-on for your Cajon or another percussion instrument or play it as a stand-alone instrument in your hand.
Attachment to the Cajon
Top, right or left: You can attach the Sela Tac Tic anywhere on your Cajon using the Velcro strap. Your playing style and taste decide where. If you place the Sela Tac Tic on top of the seat, for example, you can play the cajon with the palms of your hands and the castanets with your thumbs at the same time.
Attachment to conga & co.
The Sela Tac Tic can be attached to a percussion or drum stand using an optional mounting bracket. This also makes it the perfect add-on for congas, djembe, hang drum or any other percussion setup.
Played by hand
The Sela Tac Tic can also be played by hand. There is a thumb loop on the back to hold it securely and firmly. The great thing about it: your remaining fingers are free to play the castanets while shaking, for example!
Castanets
Set accents while playing: The sound of the castanets is assertive and perfect for accentuated playing. You can play new grooves with your thumbs, for example, or create incredibly fast clicking effects.
Brass jingles
Loud, soft or muted: the six jingles of the Sela Tac Tic can be adjusted to your liking or muted completely using the screw system. This means that anything you could wish for is possible, from a jingle to a hi-hat sound.
Shaker
Fits every musical situation: Do you need a concise, penetrating shaker sound or are you looking for a more subtle sound with less attack? You can have both in the blink of an eye. Just turn the Sela Tac Tic by 90 degrees and you have the desired shaker sound. The multi-chamber system makes it possible.
