Pioneer DJ presents the scratch‑style controller DDJ‑REV5. This two‑channel controller is compatible with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox, delivers an authentic scratch experience and offers a range of innovative features that enable more creative DJ performances across many formats.

The DDJ‑REV5 is equipped with large jog wheels that, together with the robust and elegant MAGVEL FADER, allow for delicate and precise scratching. The long tempo faders run horizontally across the deck areas, while the performance pads and Lever‑FX are placed in the mixer section, reproducing the setups loved by open‑format DJs around the world.

The controller also features unique stems control buttons for live mashups and remixes, letting you play or mute individual parts of a track—such as drums or vocals.

For even more creativity, the DDJ‑REV5 offers the very first Auto‑BPM‑Transition for seamless mixing of tracks with different BPMs. This brand‑new feature adjusts a track's tempo over a set number of beats without a noticeable transition, so you can choose tracks freely without being constrained by BPM ranges.

The new Piano‑Play provides an unparalleled musical experience by allowing you to trigger a cue point in different semitones, with the pitch changes mapped across the 16 performance pads like a piano keyboard.

The DDJ‑REV5 combines an authentic scratch feel with innovative features for intuitive scratching, battling and performing. The large jog wheels are responsive, reliable and easy to use—offering a feel similar to classic CDJs. Their displays show playback position so you always know where you are in the track. Jog feel can be customised to find the perfect jog‑wheel "weight". The MAGVEL FADER is refined, robust and ready to translate even the smallest movements—ideal for precise scratching.

Scratch‑style layout – for true open‑format freedom
The long tempo faders run horizontally over the deck sections while the performance pads and lever effects for dynamic performances are placed in the mixer area. This emulates the deck and DJM‑S mixer setups of the PLX series that open‑format DJs love worldwide. The proximity of pads, levers and faders makes it easy to combine scratching with pad playing and effects.

Dedicated buttons for easy stems control
With the DDJ‑REV5's stem buttons you can unleash your creativity and create live mashups and remixes. Tracks are split into different stems in the software—vocals, melody, bass and drums in Serato DJ Pro, or vocals, drums and Inst (other instruments including bass and synthesizers) in rekordbox—which you can then trigger separately.

Stems Mute/Solo
You can solo or mute individual stems to create your own mashups. For example, you could play the instruments from one track on Deck 1 and then play the vocals from another track on Deck 2 to create a mashup.

Stems separation
To create live remixes, you can isolate different stems of a track. For instance, you could play the instruments of a track on Deck 1 while scratching the vocals on Deck 2. Or you can isolate a stem to process just that element with an effect.

Use the EQ controls to adjust the volume for individual stems of a track.

The different stems can be used together with Deck Move, which makes it easy to shift tracks between the decks. Dual Deck lets you control the two left or right decks simultaneously. This makes it simple to create and manage multiple live mashups and remixes at the same time.

New: Auto BPM transitions for smooth mixing
With the new Auto‑BPM‑Transition feature, the DDJ‑REV5 makes it easy to switch between music genres with very different tempos. After selecting the number of bars for the transition, press the corresponding button and the running track will gradually change its tempo to match the track loaded on the other deck. This makes it easy to bring in or drop the new track at the perfect moment. Since the BPM of the new track matches the previous one, the transition is seamless. You can also apply Stems, Auto‑Loop and Key‑Lock‑Control to the transition if desired. These automatic processes free your hands from manually adjusting the tempo fader.

New Piano‑Play mode for intuitive musical performances
The new Piano‑Play mode lets you express yourself more musically on the DDJ‑REV5. As with Pitch Play, you can use the 16 performance pads to trigger a cue point in different semitones. However, the pitch changes are now arranged so that the pads form a keyboard, with the "white" keys on the lower row and the "black" keys above—just like playing a piano. Three scales are available and the improved arrangement of notes makes it possible to play a melody even without knowledge of music theory or scales.

Connectivity: multiple inputs and outputs & 2 x USB‑Type‑C for smooth DJ handovers
With numerous I/O options, including an XLR master output ideal for professional environments, the DDJ‑REV5 becomes the centre of a larger setup. There are two USB‑Type‑C ports for connection to PC and Mac, making DJ handovers effortless: a single switch on the controller is all it takes.
