The PRMMS8 is an extremely low-noise 19" microphone splitter with 8 balanced XLR inputs, each routed to a direct output and a transformer-isolated output. Four LINK switches on the front panel allow two channels to be combined for flexible use. This allows an input signal to be routed via four outputs to mixing consoles for FOH, monitoring, recording and wireless transmission or to combine two input signals into one output signal. Condenser microphones can be supplied with phantom power via the direct outputs. Each channel is equipped with a ground lift to prevent ground loops and interference caused by double earthing of connected power supplies.
