The F-55 Maple is built on the same arching press that has been part of Guild production since 1985, and delivers precisely focused trebles and pronounced mids — perfect for a full, punchy, harp-like tone. Players have long valued maple for its ability to cut through in large spaces and to avoid feedback issues common with bassier tonewoods, and the F-55 Maple does not disappoint. Elegant appointments include Guild's classic V-block inlays, gold Gotoh hardware and a beautiful nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
