CREATIVITY IN MOTION
The PERFORMER features 7" high-torque die-cast aluminium platters with acrylic discs that respond just like vinyl. The discs are magnetically coupled to the platters, providing consistently precise feedback. In the centre of each platter sits a high-resolution 3.5-inch LCD that displays deck information, moving waveforms, album artwork and library views. The Day Mode option inverts the contrast for clear visibility, so nothing washes out in sunlight.
FADERS WITH A PRECISION FEEL
In addition to the adjustable MAG FOUR crossfader, the PERFORMER's mixer section features four reworked PRECISION FEEL FADERS. These adjustable tension faders use the same two-rail mechanical system as the MAG FOUR, but in the form of a horizontal fader mounted vertically on the PCB. The result is an extremely smooth, reliable and consistent response when you play. The faders can be further customised via the onboard menu, giving you the option to reverse them and set the cut-in curve from 0–100%.
STEMS CONTROL
With four unique options for controlling stems, the PERFORMER sets the standard for creative open-format DJing.
The PERFORMER features RANE's exclusive STEM SPLIT function, which automatically splits acapella and instrumental sections across two mixer channels, giving you the freedom to assign FX to individual elements and craft your own signature. STEM LEVEL turns the 3-band EQ on each channel into adjustment knobs that let you tweak, suppress or boost individual elements.
ADVANCED FX FEATURES
More than 25 paddle-controlled, fully customisable MAIN FX and 4 knob-controlled CHANNEL FX.
These robust FX include traditional classics like Reverb and Echo as well as newcomers such as Scale Down, Recycler and Riser.
The entire Fader FX suite from the RANE SEVENTY A-TRAK SIGNATURE EDITION mixer has been ported to the PERFORMER. This lets the PRECISION FEEL volume faders act as linear controllers for roll, pitch and ring modulation. Seamless switching between the built-in hardware effects and Serato's software effects is possible, giving you a wide range of options for any style you choose.
