The Series One amplifier has always been Blackstar's flagship high-gain amplifier and the most awarded series Blackstar has ever released. With two patents (ISF and DPR), Series One has been a dominant force in the rock and metal scene for nearly two decades, used by some of the world's greatest artists. The new MKII series is characterized by tight, focused, clear and defined high-gain sounds. The amplifier has six different modes and a total of four footswitchable channels. Blackstar's patented DPR (Dynamic Power Reduction) allows for a stepless power reduction down to 10 watts, so that the amplifier can be used in any playing situation. In addition, the Series One MKII features a MIDI input and output, so that it can be easily integrated into a professional setup. The chassis of all Series One amplifiers are made of 1.6mm seam-welded steel for armor-like stability.
