Ibanez RGA
The Ibanez RGA series was introduced in the year 2005 and is a variation of the original RG guitar shape that remains popular to this day. The "A" in the series name stands for the arched top. In English known as "Arched-Top".
The electric guitars of the RGA series feature a solid carved offset double-cutaway body with pointed horns. It is based on the RG body in the Super-Strat style, but with a solid, arched top. The series started as pure Prestige hardtail models, but was expanded in 2009 to non-Prestige models and in 2010 to models with tremolo and a wider tonal range.
Most electric guitars in the RGA series have a mahogany body and are equipped with two active humbucker pickups and an active preamp.
