RAINMAKER
The Rainmaker comes from the very dry Atacama Desert in northern Chile and is used in the rain ceremonies of the Diaguitos Indians. Hear and summon the rain! Rainmakers are made from dead Copado cacti that are already woody. The spines are first removed and then pierced into the inside of the hollow cactus. Before the rainmaker is closed at the ends, small pebbles are filled inside. When the Rainmaker is turned, the stones fall from spine to spine, creating the sound that reminds us of rain.
