PO-35 speak is a combination of vocal synthesiser and sampler. Using the built-in microphone, you can record your own voice, bend its character extensively using 8 integrated voice characters and then play it or control it using the internal 16-step sequencer. The 16 integrated patterns can also be supplemented with beats using 8 interchangeable drum sounds (via the optional microtonic plug-in from Sonic Charge). A total of 8 effects are available on the master.
As with all Pocket Operators, power is supplied by 2 standard micro batteries. In addition, each Pocket Operator has an animated LCD display, a built-in speaker, bent wire stand, sync, line inputs and outputs (3.5 mm jack) and, conveniently, an integrated alarm clock. Parameter Lock can be used to record automations for each step.
