The Schlagwerk Cajon Shaker Brushes were developed in co-operation with the American percussionist T. J. Troy. With its 15.8 mm handle, the brush is extremely comfortable and well-balanced in the hand - with the nylon bristles producing a warm, rich sound on the Cajon. The highlight of the Shaker Brushes, however, lies in the shaker capsules attached to the end of the brush. When playing with the brushes, they produce a beautiful shaker sound that accompanies the groove. Alternatively, if a brush is played in the air, there are endless possibilities for eliciting finely nuanced rhythms from the shaker using various stick techniques.
