Monitoring with studio quality - everywhere The NDH 20 is a closed-back headphone that combines high sound isolation with the carefully balanced sound and outstanding resolution that the Neumann name stands for. The NDH 20 is therefore ideal for monitoring and mixing, even in noisy environments. Ear-enclosing memory foam pads ensure a high level of long-term wearing comfort.
Precise listening and mixing - in the studio, at home, on the move. While many other closed-back headphones have strong resonances in the mid frequencies that make it difficult to make reliable mixing decisions, the NDH 20 offers an amazingly detailed and balanced sound image, similar to that of the popular Neumann studio monitors. Its superior, fatigue-free sound and soft memory foam ear pads make even extended listening sessions a pleasure.
The newly developed 38 mm drivers of the NDH 20 are fitted with extra-strong neodymium magnets and ensure high sensitivity with minimal distortion to guarantee maximum sound purity and freedom from colouration. The mechanical construction also meets the highest standards: The adjustable headband is made of flexible steel, while the ear cup covers are crafted from lightweight aluminium. The headphones can be folded up for transport and stored in the fabric bag supplied. Two interchangeable cables (straight/coiled) and an adapter plug (3.5 mm/6.3 mm) are also included.
Applications
The NDH 20 is suitable for all applications that require high sound isolation, such as monitoring for musicians and sound engineers in the recording room or in the field of event technology. It is also an excellent choice for analytical listening without being disturbed by ambient noise or, conversely, disturbing the environment with sound emissions from the headphones. Thanks to its wide transmission range of 5 Hz to 30 kHz, the NDH 20 is extremely useful for assessing low bass and extreme treble frequencies.
Unlike many other closed-back headphones, the Neumann NDH 20 is also suitable for mixing applications. Its exceptionally flat frequency response and natural stereo image provide the necessary security when mixing and ensure compatibility with all playback systems. The NDH 20 is therefore an indispensable tool for working on the road; of course, it is also ideal for audiophile music enjoyment. Features
