Product information "Lewitt LCT 940"
The perfect studio microphone
The LCT 940 combines the specific characteristics of a high-quality large-diaphragm FET condenser microphone and a premium tube microphone. With "Tube" you get warmth and musical harmonics, while "FET" gives you a clear and nuanced sound.
Mix tube and FET circuitry in any ratio and find your ideal blend. The LCT 940 offers a total of nine different polar patterns.
A combination for countless possibilities
With AMPLIFICATION you mix the two microphone circuits, FET and tube, in any ratio to dial in the perfect combination of warmth, punch and clarity to suit your needs. Perfect for adapting the LCT 940 to different voices or instruments.
Perfection in every respect
The precision-crafted large-diaphragm capsule captures every nuance of your performance. The full-metal microphone body and the brushed aluminium housing of the remote control promise durability and robustness. With the supplied microphone case the LCT 940 is also perfectly protected on the road.
12AX7 for warm tone
The tube circuit of the LCT 940 is dedicated to the typically warm tone. The 12AX7 double-triode tube delivers the characteristic warm and pleasant sound with smooth highs. Unlike its vintage relatives, it still cuts through the mix brilliantly.
Remote control with illuminated control panel
The remote's control panel allows quick and easy adjustment of all functions — low cut, pad, polar pattern and tube/FET blend — without having to leave your workstation.
