The second wavetable synthesiser from Korg
If you like to tweak synthetic sounds, you can't ignore the Korg name. The modwave gets packed synth power in the new MK II version.
Each program features two fully equipped wavetable oscillators plus a sub-oscillator or noise generator and any one of a dozen different filter types. These include the aggressive MS-20 filter, the smooth Polysix filter and the newly improved Multi Filter.
Almost every parameter can be animated via the extremely flexible modulation system with four triggerable envelope generators, five LFOs, two mod processors as well as two key-tracking generators plus motion sequencing with multiple lanes and Kaoss Physics.
With all this synthesis power — able to use up to four wavetables per voice in a single sound program — the modwave achieves a polyphony of 60 voices. Two sound programs can be layered on top of each other, further doubling the sonic possibilities.
The modwave ships with a versatile collection of music software to help take your productions to the next level — including Ozone Elements from iZotope for AI-assisted mastering, a trial subscription for the piano-teaching software Skoove to expand your playing skills, as well as software synthesizers from KORG and other manufacturers.

The Japanese company Korg INC is one of the most renowned manufacturers of our time when it comes to electronic musical instruments and accessories. Among musicians the company is often simply referred to as Korg. The company was founded on 28 August 1963 by Tsutomu Kato and Tadashi Osanai. The nearly 300 employees at Korg INC are mainly engaged in the manufacture and marketing of synthesizers and samplers, drum machines and sound modules, keyboards and electric pianos, but also USB controllers, electronic drums as well as handy little helpers for guitarists.
