The Ibanez AZ series is extremely popular – and now the AZES line offers an affordable version in the characteristic AZ design. With the AZES40-PRB, Ibanez offers a classic ST model with contemporary features: a lightweight poplar body, a bolt-on flat maple Jatoba neck, a T-106 tremolo with comfortably rounded steel saddles, and an HSS set of Ibanez Essentials pickups, which, as with the AZ guitars, can be switched in a variety of ways using a 5-way switch and the Alter Switch for the Dyna-MIX8 switching system.
