The Runt 50 is a versatile, two-channel 1 x 12" combo that delivers the legendary Friedman sound. The American-oriented clean channel has a bass and treble control and a three-way bright switch, all from a glass-clear cleansound to the Slightly tweaked Blues / Country sound. But the heart of the Runt is the Overdrive Channel, which ranges from classic Rocksounds to the New Metal genre and beyond. With the combination of boost switch and gain control you always find the right amount of distortion.
The runt has tight bass and center, which is usually found only with much more powerful amps. The reasons for this are the use of special transformers and an extremely clean signal path. The Runt is suitable for many musical genres, from blues to classic rock to heavy metal. It only depends on the settings of Gain and Master.
