The new Cameo DVC D5 interface is the perfect successor to the Cameo DVC and now bundles lifetime licences for Cameo D4 Express and Cameo D5 Express. With the accompanying Cameo software powered by Daslight, DMX-compatible fixtures can be conveniently controlled from PC and Mac.
In Live mode the DVC D5 becomes the ultimate tool for live shows with its 512 DMX channels. For computerless use as a standalone DMX player with 256 channels, programmed lightshows can be copied to the integrated flash memory. The interface features a USB-C input, a 3‑pin DMX output and is powered via your computer's USB output. Three buttons make program selection and dimming easier in Standalone mode, where only a standard 5 V USB power supply is required.
The free Cameo software package includes over 15,000 device libraries and a ScanLibrary editor for creating or adapting device profiles. With this software you can select individual DMX devices, group them and add them to a lightshow in a 2D view. Create dynamic scenes, layer them and use the palette function for lighting control without moving faders.
Explore creative possibilities with live editing tools, an audio analyser, MIDI clock synchronisation for lights and music tempo, and a real-time 3D visualisation of the programmed lightshow. The customisable screen layout caters to individual needs, and the free Easy Remote app enables wireless control via iPhone, iPad and Android devices over Wi‑Fi.
