With the new Katana MkII series, BOSS takes the popular Katana series to the next level, adding new sounds, effects and features to the amps. Each of the five amp characters now features an additional sound variation. In addition, the integrated effect categories have also been expanded from three to five, offering even more possibilities. In conjunction with the revised BOSS Tone Studio software, more than 60 BOSS effects, channel and master EQs, customizable signal routing and more are available for individual sound editing. The "Power Amp" input is also very interesting. With this input it is possible to connect a multi-effect (e. g. GT-1000) directly to the power amp. With Stereo Expand it is possible to couple 2 Katana MKII and use them in stereo.
