Mike Soldano is one of the forefathers of the boutique amp scene. His legendary SLO-100 amp characterised the sound of many well-known guitarists of the 80s and 90s. The characteristic, singing high-gain lead sound with the typical mid-range has a very high recognition value and can be heard on countless productions. The SLO module is not a second-rate emulation of a Soldano amp - Synergy brought Mike Soldano on board and let him design the preamp module: if it says Soldano on it, it's Soldano in it! The result is impressive: the legendary sound is reproduced convincingly! The current SLO II version has separate 3-band EQs for each channel. The crunch/overdrive and the tight/normal switch of the legendary top are also on board.
