This highly professional two-way active system is designed for absolute, lasting reliability. With its multifunctional bass reflex housing and precisely matched, user-friendly presets, the loudspeaker is suitable as a fullrange box, satellite and ground monitor.
The Stinger 8 A G3 is powered by a highly efficient Class-D power amp with a powerful 300 watts of continuous power. The Waveguide of the tweeter has been developed using the boundary element method (BEM), a numerical simulation of the sound radiation and propagation, which reduces the amount of ground reflections And ceilings, prevents secondary maxima and thus achieves a controlled, homogeneous emission behavior.
Thanks to LD Systems' proprietary DynX® DSP technology, the Stinger 8 A G3 delivers perfect performance with maximum clarity and enforceability under all conditions. The signal processing of the crossover function and the multiband limiter achieve an optimum runtime and maximum distortion-free operation.
Designed as a real workhorse, the cabinet of the loudspeaker is constructed from robust birch plywood. It offers exceptional stability and durability with an extremely durable polyurea coating. The equipment includes a front grille made of steel, the dual-tilt tripod mount, flight points and ergonomic handles.
