For over 40 years, Solid State Logic audio tools have shaped countless hits and award-winning music productions around the world. With the SSL 12, a portion of that know-how now finds its way into your personal studio.

To guarantee impeccable sonic performance, SSL makes no compromises where it counts. The four microphone preamps deliver class-leading specifications and even feature an HPF switch to remove unwanted rumble from your signal. SSL uses original components from Neutrik, Alps and AKM. Handy level meters, independently controllable headphone outputs, a talkback microphone and MIDI connectors round off the ambitious feature set.

If a signal needs a bit more character, the Legacy 4K switch can help. It lets you add a dose of analogue sound and glamour at any time. The 8-channel ADAT input can be used, among other things, to expand the unit with additional mic inputs.

You can set up and configure your SSL12 conveniently via the free SSL 360° software, which also manages the SSL DAW and plug-in controllers. The SSL12 Mixer is available there for near-zero-latency monitor mixes. And as if that weren't enough, SSL also bundles a premium selection of software licences for SSL Native plug-ins, DAWs, samples, loops and virtual instruments. This toolbox is optimised for your workflow — whether tracking, mixing or producing. So you can get started straight away!
