With the Premium reeds, Henri SELMER Paris returns to its roots from 1885 and resumes production of reeds for clarinet and saxophone. Generations of musicians used SELMER reeds, as they were known for their reliability and powerful tone. Consistent quality from reed to reed is ensured by modern manufacturing with a laser-checked cut.
The new Premium reeds are made from organically cultivated "Arundo Donax" cane, which is allowed to grow wild and for one year longer than comparable cane plants. This results in an increased fibre density and therefore greater stability, longevity and a strong, distinctive projection of sound.
But these reeds can do much more. They combine musical performance with responsibility for the environment! The completely plastic-free and eco-friendly packaging reflects SELMER's commitment to sustainability. The perfect harmony between music and protecting our planet!
